Karl by Karl Lagerfeld launched on Net-A-Porter ... we're obsessed!

Karl Lagerfeld’s latest clothing line Karl is now available on Net-A-Porter! The collection is oh-so wearable and has the signature Lagerfeld look we’ve seen in his iconic designs for Chanel – think neutral black and whites, metallic and a grunge-meets-glamour feel. But the most exciting thing about his line? The affordable price range!

The celebrated designer’s diffusion line features 100 pieces priced from $100 to $1000 and has a focus on urban style, with a heavy emphasis on denim and leather pieces. Natalie Massenet, Net-A-Porter's founder and executive chairman, told Vogue: 'From the moment we saw the collection we were hooked... The collection will speak to every woman who wants a bit of the inimitable fabulous street chic that Karl Lagerfeld is known for.'

 A second collection, Karl Lagerfeld Paris, will be available later this year, with a price range of $300 to $2500. With the price hike comes a greater selection – the collection includes 300 pieces of both women and menswear. If the success of Lagerfeld’s 2004 collection for H&M is anything to go by, expect big things from the designer’s latest diffusion lines.

I have just learnt that he has opened up a 190 seater restaurant, right on Pitt Street in the heart of the CBD! WOW! I can’t wait to try it out J
